Fanlisting?
According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :)

Before anything else, let me reiterate once more that this isn't an official site, just a little place by fans for fans, as the disclaimer below says- . And before you might ask, no, I have not any sick obsession with Walter... I'm a normal person who simply happens to like so much the Silent Hill series and has wanted to make a site about this character because, honestly, it is a fascinating one - maybe the most interesting character in the whole series, because of the story behind him and the way he's connected to the Silent Hill cult, to the whole Silent Hill story. Besides, we can't deny we easily get fascinated about evil characters, precisely because they seem to be kind of more human to us than the good characters, the heroes.. who are most of the times, how could I say it...? Too perfect to be real, and too plain to be interesting. Not always - but most of the times they are this way. That's why the evil characters tend to have a more interesting background story and most of people can even feel identified with them more easily.
The site is named 21 Sacraments obviously because this is the name of the ritual Walter is trying to carry out, the central part of the plot in Silent Hill 4, as everything that happens in the game is because Walter is trying to complete it. As this is not only the fanlisting, but also a little fansite, about Walter I've thought it would be a suitable name.
The menu sections are named the same way as the "murder themes" of the different victims - of the 21 sacrifices. The order is simply the same one as in the victims were killed, or supposed to.
I'm using Enthusiast to manage the fanlisting and NL-PHPmail for the contact form. The images I've used for the layout are the two "official" ones of Walter in his two different forms (young Walter and adult Walter) and in the background, an image of the Room 302 door, with Walter's words (or we should say warning) written there. If I'm right, I found them all at Gamespot. In case you're interested, the fonts I've used for the layout are Death Struggle (for the site title & subtitle) and Terminal (for the fragment of the 21 sacraments scriptures at the top of the menu).
